Reviews
We loved our stay at Hazelwood Estate. The cabins were beautiful and the views were amazing! The service was excellent and the food was incredible. We got the three-course meal and the beef tartare was next level and the mains (beef and pig) were delicious! It was worth every cent for us and we had a great time. (from Tripadvisor)
The location is a beautiful mountain farm. As you drive in, you pass wagyu cattle then pull up to the large car park, main building and restaurant. The service was great throughout with friendly attentive staff. The food was brilliant. For dinner, we chose to let the chef feed us and breaky was the same, being presented with a great selection. The rooms are great and spread out just down from the restaurant. The grounds are an awesome walk up to the stables and polo field. We highly recommend. (from Tripadvisor)
We find it difficult to find places that offer such wonderful a feel as Hazelwood gave us. While other places may offer just as nice accommodation and such, it is ultimately how a place embraces you that creates a memorable stay. Relaxing on the porch overlooking the polo fields, with cocktail in hand, made us feel at home. The food was perfect and the best that we have had for many many years. The staff were so welcoming and took time to stop and have an individual conversation. Hazelwood is still developing and it will remain on our radar to visit again. We think that wintertime will be wonderful to spend time in front of the fires with our sangria and perhaps catch a polo match. Our cabin was lovely, and we had wallabies and hares we could see from our veranda and we saw a big eagle flying overhead. And the millions of stars were just beautiful. Thank you for renewing our faith that quality still exists. (from Tripadvisor)
