We have stayed at the Royale Takitumu 3 of our 6 visits to the Cook Islands and will hopefully be back again. Great location on the island for snorkeling, walking on the beach and island back roads, kayaking, and decompressing. The staff is wonderful! Everyone is warm, friendly, genuine, and welcoming. ... The entire staff were very attentive to all our needs and tremendous in helping us make reservations for restaurants over the holiday season or booking activities. We felt at home staying at the resort. The location is a quiet part of the island, which we absolutely loved. We enjoyed the fact that the resort does not have a restaurant as this keeps the resort quiet and secluded. Many shops and restaurants are a quick 5 minute bike ride.
